What is a "Write-On"?
Each semester we host a symposium centered around a pertinent legal topic or theme. These topics are then announced and any student, from any discipline, is encouraged to write a note centered around that theme. These notes then undergo a rigorous and accelerated editing process before being published shortly following the end of the semester.
Akin to the annual “Write-On” hosted by many law reviews, each of our symposiums functions as our own version of a legal writing competition that encourages rigorous and dynamic thinking, all while encouraging new and active participants.
Through our symposiums, the Review strives to create a collaborative and inclusive community at USC, by which anyone can participate and enrich the discussions held.
